University of Bern

The University of Bern was founded in 1834 and it comprises 8 different faculties: Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Humanities, Faculty of Human Sciences, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences and Vetsuisse Faculty. It is one of the biggest universities in Switzerland and it has found its place amongst the top 400 universities in the world with an enrollment of nearly 18 000 students. According to World University ranking it is ranked among the top 110 universities in the world. The language at the university is generally German , also lectures in English take place as part of numerous study courses.
